BMF Investments, Inc. is an independent SEC registered Investment Advisory fee-based money management firm located in Charlotte, North Carolina. The President and founder is Barry M. Ferguson, RFC. Barry has more than a decade's worth of experience in the financial services industry. He has a diverse background ranging from financial software consultant to registered representative of investment products to President of an Investment Advisory firm. His strong technology background has been beneficial in today's 'information age' market.

Expertise

After working in the investment business for several years, Barry had the vision that there was a better way for investors to gain from his expertise. Instead of being a commissioned-based sales person, Barry wanted to 'partner' with his clients in a manner that would provide a common goal for both of them. Through fee-based management, the manager's salary becomes tied to the growth of a client's portfolio. This seemed to be a more equitable way to invest money for clients. Thus, BMF Investments, Inc. Money Management was born.

For the better part of the past ten years, Barry has been writing a stock market investment advice related newsletter he calls Barry's Bulls… Its subscription base has grown to national levels such that excerpts have appeared in other investment publications such as Barron's, Dick Davis Digest, and Bull and Bear. Subscriptions are available to both clients and non-clients.

Radio Show

We are also pleased to announce that Barry has agreed to participate as co-host of a new radio show. It will be called "Dollar$ense" and it will air on WNMX 106.1 FM on Saturdays at 9:30 AM. In addition, Barry is a frequent lecturer across the nation on the subject of money management and the use of technical charting as an investment tool.

Education

Barry obtained his Bachelors degree from the University of North Carolina Charlotte in 1979. He is also an affiliated member of the Market Technicians Association.
